To the TV gods: I resolve during the coming year to try to watch at least one episode of Grey's Anatomy all the way through, a show which -- lame though it is -- really doesn't need my help, or anyone else's, if we're to believe the ratings.

In exchange, please give Friday Night Lights one more chance, and not just because Kyle Chandler, Connie Britton and Taylor Kitsch are giving, week in and week out, some of the finest performances in this or any other TV season.
