Taylor Still A Part Of FNL Season 5!!
Written by bloominidiot
YAAAAAAYY! Good news!! It looks like Taylor WILL be doing at least PART of FNL Season 5.

From here:

It looks like Tim Riggins will be warming the bench for at least a portion of Friday Night Lights’  fifth season.

Executive producer Jason Katims confirms that Taylor Kitsch will be off filming his lead role in John Carter of Mars, Disney’s big-screen adaptation of Edgar Rice Burroughs’ book series, during production of FNL’s probable final season. As a result, he says Kitsch “will miss part” of the season. “[But] we are communicating with the [John Carter] production to work out the schedule so that Taylor can be in as much of season 5 as possible.”

The news comes as production on FNL’s fourth season, now airing on DirecTV, begins to wind down. The cast and crew will take a brief hiatus before beginning work on season 5 in March.

Although there’s been no official announcement that Lights will go out after the fifth season, Katims recently told me that “everybody is operating under that assumption.”

First off, Taylor and Kyle Chandler were on Rochester's morning show on WHAM, and it's a VERY funny video! You can watch it here:

E! has a talk with showrunner Jason Katims with spoilers, from here:

"Clear eyes, shirtless Riggins, can't lose!

(Wait, is that not how the mantra goes?)

The brilliant Friday Night Lights returns to TV tonight at 9 p.m. on DirecTV's channel 101, and even though Dillon football is in a state of upheaval, a few things remain the same: the heart, the humor, and yes, Taylor Kitsch will still "forget" to button those tricky buttons from time to time."

**snerk**

**clears throat**

Ahem.

Time Magazine has a review with a new Landry pic, again with spoilers, from here:

In My Lifetime Video

Taylor is featured in FilmSkillet's video In My Lifetime (as are many of the FNL cast as well), posted over at YouTube, link here (being the newbie, I haven't figured out how to embed a video here YET.Give me time!):

The video details out what people would like to see happen within their lifetime and Taylor has some pretty amazing things to say at about the five-minute mark.

Go and enjoy!

Taylor Nominated For People's Choice Award;News of X-Men Movies
Written by bloominidiot
Good news!

Taylor has been nominated for a People's Choice Award for Breakout Movie Actor for XMO:Wolverine. These awards are decided on by the people, and how they vote so GET OUT THERE AND VOTE, PEOPLE!!!

You will have to register and it looks like it is letting vote once a day(so far):

Also, some news of the future of some X-Men films, from here:

There’s fan speculation that Gambit could be involved with First Class since there was talk of a possible Gambit solo film. Taylor Kitsch, who played him in X-Men Origins: Wolverine, has a three-picture deal. I expect that with Kitsch's casting as the lead in the John Carter of Mars film (and possible trilogy), his profile will grow huge and he’ll back as Remy LeBeau once again down the road. According to Donner however, Gambit isn’t part of First Class because he wasn’t part of Xavier’s original student body. I’m not sure what that means because neither will one or more of the students they choose to fill Iceman’s and Angel’s roster spots in keeping with the film continuity.

Some FNL News

Writer Chris Littleman spent A Day on the Set of Friday Night Lights, here:

http://www.sportingnews.com/blog/firstcu ts/entry/view/37945/a_day_on_the_set_of_ friday_night_lights

As dinner wrapped up, we made our way back outside and the stars departed to their trailers. I waited for my time with Connie Britton, and while I waited, two cast members who weren't part of the early session rolled up to join the others. Taylor Kitsch (Tim Riggins) and Zach Gilford (Matt Saracen) both arrive at base camp. I chatted for a bit with Kitsch, who I'd interviewed last season. He's still a huge hockey fan-- and plays in Austin in a pretty competitive league. We talked about Peter Berg's 30 for 30 ESPN documentary Kings Ransom and also about his buddy, Dany Heatley.

Plus a rather spoilery interview with Jason Katims regarding what's coming up in Season Four, here:
