Here is the transcript of Taylor's eTalk Interview, and 54 screencaps have been added to the gallery as promised.
Lainey - So you're back at home...
Taylor - I am back at home.
L - How do you umm, how often do you come back?
T - Once a year I guess, if that. So I guess...last, actually the hiatus I had like a month here so Christmas and then a month in like June before we went and did Gospel Hill. *points off camera* I point to the hat on the table because I wear that.
L - Is that the Gospel Hill hat?
T - Yeah
L - Is the, did the people treat you differently when you got back?
T - Umm, it's yet to be seen I guess, I mean I haven't been out and about yet so...I don't, I don't think so. |

Taylor attended the 8th Annual AFI Awards held at the Four Seasons Hotel in LA yesterday, with several of his Friday Night Lights co-stars.
The AFI Awards honored 10 films and 10 television programs of 2007, as
selected by juries that include critics, academics and others in the
industry. There were no winners or losers, and no acceptance speeches — just a lunch. Attire was business casual.
The honored TV programs were "Dexter," "Everybody Hates Chris," "Friday
Night Lights," "Longford," "Mad Men," "Pushing Daisies," "The
Sopranos," "Tell Me You Love Me," "30 Rock" and "Ugly Betty."

Friday Night Lights: Jumping The Gun airs on NBC tonight at 9/8c!
Brian “Smash” Williams is facing a lot of pressure as many major
colleges are looking for a verbal commitment to their program and he
has his heart set on one. Elsewhere, tension is still high between
Coach Taylor and Tim Riggins, with regard to Julie, and Tim does not
know where to turn. Meanwhile, Coach Taylor is feeling the stress as he
prepares the Panthers to take on Laribee High School in the biggest
game of the season. Back at home, Tami Taylor and her sister continue
to see things differently, which eventually leads to the Taylor’s
asking her to leave. |

From E!Online.com...
You've heard me blather on and on about this silly little (awesome and beloved) show called Friday Night Lights.
Some of you listened; some of you snerked. And since the show returns
tomorrow, and since there's very little else on right now, I figure
this is just about the most perfect time to try and convert you all.
So, since you're sick of my incessant FNL
yammering, I'm going to step aside and let my partner in crime Jennifer
Godwin share with you a few reasons to watch. She's a spankin'-new
convert who's just seen the Lights....halle-freaking-lujah.
Hi,
all! Jen here. Let the word go forth from this time and place: I
shoulda listened to Korbi. She kept telling me she felt more for the
characters on Friday Night Lights than the characters on just about any other show on her impressive watch list. I didn't listen. It won't happen again.
Further
to the point of my foolishness, this summer, when I met Zach
Gilford—who plays shy, stammering quarterback Matt Saracen, aka QB1—and
confessed I hadn't seen his show, he said simply and modestly, "Do you
like good TV? If you like good TV, you'll like Friday Night Lights." I didn't listen. For that matter, I didn't know that when I was at a party with Taylor freakin' Kitsch, that I was at a party with Taylor freakin' Kitsch. He was standing right there. Silly me. Ah, little did I know then that Korbi was spot-on and that Zach Gilford was almost right, because as a matter of fact, if you like good TV, you will love Friday Night Lights.
4. If You Like Sawyer, You'll Love Tim Riggins: Do
you like your boys sexy, troubled and self-destructive? Are great hair
and a soft, gooey center also desirable? If so, you're probably already
a fan of Lost's Sawyer. Then consider sharing a beer with
Dillon Panthers fullback Tim Riggins, another ne'er-do-well who is
clumsily yet compellingly bumbling down the path toward redemption.
Brooding and gorgeous, Riggs is flat-out irresistible.

It pains me to have to put together this list, surely something more
wistful and somber than you have any right to expect right after the
onslaught of family and fruitcakes. But with talks between the Writers
Guild of America and the television producers at a standstill—not to
mention news of the WGA refusing writing waivers for the Golden
Globes—I felt it was only appropriate to take a minute to celebrate the
TV characters and personalities I’ll miss most in 2008. These are the
voices that shaped my viewing in 2007, and without them around, it’s
going to be a long, cold year.
Tim Riggins - Friday Night Lights won me over with its
phenomenal first season, which is why I’ve been sticking with it during
its somewhat rockier second year. (The sports-inclined among you could
think of this year as a “rebuilding” one.) But of all the fantastic
characters, I’ve most enjoyed the way Tim Riggins (Taylor Kitsch) has
developed from the bad boy with a heart of gold to a loyal friend who
still makes the kind of casually destructive mistakes that come with
the territory of being a teen. He may pound sixers before practice and
drive a beat-up old truck, but he’s never a caricature. Clear eyes and
full hearts, Tim. Come back soon.

First things first – my interview with Taylor Kitsch airs on eTalk
on January 4th. And because this was an eTalk official assignment,
there are some things I won’t be able to tell you now– like if he has a
girlfriend. Or the answer to the question: Lindsay Lohan or Scarlett
Johansson? Or how often he washes his hair. Needless to say, my
producers want you to watch the show. At 7:05pm on January 4th however,
I will post those answers here. And hopefully figure out how to YouTube
from my tv.

JENNA FISCHER
''You know who I've been obsessed with? Tim Riggins from Friday Night Lights. There hasn't been a man that hot since Brad Pitt took his shirt off in Thelma and Louise.
I just can't get enough of that DVD. I'd listen to my two girlfriends
talk about him and I was like, whatever, but then I saw it and called
both of them and was like, I get it.''

Chief among the many reasons why I love watching TV is because of the
multitude of handsome men who appear as if by magic in my living room.
Some of them are even good actors too! So, we at BuddyTV have compiled
a list of who we think are the hottest seven men on TV. The different
kinds of sexiness are as varied as there are men on TV. We chose actors
who play badasses, demon hunters, hot doctors and even middle
management office workers.
Obviously, we would have liked to include all of the Dillon Panthers on Friday Night Lights, notably Taylor Kitsch because he is just so damn pretty, among many other hotties, but we had to choose only seven.

Three, bargaining: "Just let me live to see my child(ren) graduate.
Or, failing that, see Friday Night Lights picked up for another season."
To
the TV gods: I resolve during the coming year to try to watch at least
one episode of Grey's Anatomy all the way through, a show which -- lame
though it is -- really doesn't need my help, or anyone else's, if we're
to believe the ratings.
In exchange, please give Friday Night
Lights one more chance, and not just because Kyle Chandler, Connie
Britton and Taylor Kitsch are giving, week in and week out, some of the
finest performances in this or any other TV season. Read more...

But is it a bit depressing to be surrounded by a bunch of 20-year-olds in their physical prime on Friday Night Lights?
Hell,
yeah, it’s depressing! Bastards. Especially that Taylor Kitsch, showing
himself off in all those damn muscle magazines and everything.
Meanwhile, I’m counting my extra gray hairs every morning. But it’s
neat to see those guys do well. I was there at one point, so I know
where they are. They’ve got great years ahead of ’em.

Looking for clues to the fate of the "Heroes?" Three original paintings featured in NBC's hit series that foretell the characters' fates are part of an online auction of studio props to be launched Monday by NBC Universal.
The auction (http://www.NBC.com/auctions), will also feature collectibles from such shows as "The Office," "30 Rock," "Las Vegas" and "Friday Night Lights."
The first batch, on the block through December 3, will include Michael Scott's(Steve Carell) Timex watch and Hawaiian "Convention" shirt from "The Office"; a poker set used by the main cast of "30 Rock"; Tim Riggins' (Taylor Kitsch) jersey, a signed football by three cast members and a megaphone signed by Minka Kelly from "Friday Night Lights"; and Danny's (Josh Duhamel) signed Letterman jacket from "Las Vegas."
Each auction will last two weeks, with a new group of items becoming available about every three weeks, said Kim Niemi, senior vp at NBC Universal Video, Music & Product Development.
"We worked with the shows to identify props and wardrobe items and pieces that the fans are really excited about," Niemi said. "We have a great selection of dozens and dozens of items."
A portion of the auction's proceeds will benefit the United Way and its various partner organizations.
